Brief Bio

I was born and raised in Madison, AL, and I have lived in Franklin, TN since June 2014. I went off to college at The University of Alabama in August 2008 where I pursued and earned my BS in food and nutrition in May 2012. 

Throughout middle school and high school, I was a competitive cheerleader for my schools and an all-star team. Being in the cheerleading world-- where weight worries and eating disorders can be abundant--, I developed an interest in nutrition and its impact on the body and performance. After graduating college, I began exploring the fitness world more in depth and became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer in May 2013. A couple years after I graduated, I found and obtained the perfect job for me to jumpstart my career in workplace wellness in the beautiful, amazing, quaint Franklin, TN. I started my new journey in Franklin in June of 2014 where I began lifestyle health coaching and did that for two years. I decided that I wanted to undergo additional training to become specialized in weight loss coaching and have been doing that for the past couple years now as well. I love working with people and seeing their happiness as they achieve their goals of improving health and lifestyle!

"Meet in the middle." One of the most important and effective techniques and skills I've learned with my clients and my work is to meet people where they're at. Everyone is at a different point in their journey, and my ultimate goal is to come alongside my clients where they are to encourage, support, motivate, believe, care, help create a healthier lifestyle, partner, and educate while on that lifelong journey.
