When I was young, I crossed my eyes. My favorite pair was a set with rose-colored tint in them. I truly wore rose-colored glasses. The Free Dictionary by Farlex defines the idiom as: “through rose-colored glasses - with an unduly cheerful, optimistic, or favorable view of things.” It was quite fitting and described me perfectly.
