January is all about self assessment. Taking care of yourself, seeing where you are, and what you need to do to reach your goals.
If you were to simply google a fitness self assessment, it would give you all these excersizes to try to complete in a certain amount of time.
However, everyone is different. Maybe you want to get stronger. Maybe you want to be more flexible. Everyone’s goals are different. Take a piece of paper and write down why you want to be fit. Is it to just feel better? Is it so you can go on a hiking trip? Is it to lose weight?
Write the goals down and then write your solutions to get there. Don’t measure your success by how many pushups or how many miles you can run. Set your goals and work out a way to achieve them.
If you just simply want to be able to play with your grandchildren outside, then make that a goal for your self assessment. Talk with your Homefit trainer about steps you can take to get there!
