I am a native of North Carolina but have lived in Nashville for six great years. My connection to physical activity and healthy eating started in middle school when I began a weight loss journey as a 160lb, 13 year old. Armed with a nutrition book from the library and a treadmill, I learned how to improve my diet and walked my way to better health as a teenager.
The topics became more than my way of losing weight and I started college seeking more knowledge and how I could use it to help others. Fast forward to a completed college career and I have been in the health and fitness world for 5 years now, spending most of my time in wellness and training at a local YMCA. I love helping people turn the sometimes intimidating world of fitness into a welcoming environment they can be a part of.
Personal Mission Statement
As a trainer, I enjoy helping people find what they love doing, creating individualized, fun ways to combine exercise and nutrition as the foundational tools for a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle that anyone can apply and love!
