Brief bio

Growing up on the east coast I was always interested in sports. I played basketball, softball and soccer until high school when I decided to join the marching band and indoor color guard. I decided to try dance classes at age 17 focusing on jazz class. In my early 20’s, dealing with the stress of graduate school, I decided to try ballet and fell in love.

Working out and eating healthy became a way of life for me at that time. I took Ice Skating lessons, took regular Jazzercise classes and Zumba classes, cardio-kickboxing classes, I worked out at the gym with a trainer. I’m always active and finding new ways to challenge myself physically.

I discovered yoga a little over 20 years ago. I immediately noticed how yoga was helping me grow stronger and live more mindfully. I felt more calm and more at peace, even in stressful situations. After moving to Nashville in 2011, I discovered Baptiste™ Power Vinyasa Yoga, fell in love with the practice and decided to get certified. During my yoga teacher training I was transformed by the practice. Today I enjoy sharing the many expressions of Yoga with each of my students. This practice will raise your vitality, improve your body’s strength, flexibility, and confidence, while supporting you in attaining the results you desire and deserve in your life.
